Re: Supreme Court rules for college athletes in compensation dispute with NCAA

It appears Texas and Okie will be joining the SEC soon. This will leave the B12 "staggering" with only 8 members... Some rumors suggest the B10 merging with ACC, or OSU and ND bolting for ACC... OSU's Ryan Day sums it up nicely: I honestly can’t tell you which way is up," Day said Fri...

Re: KRAKEN DRAFT TONIGHT

The difference is professional leagues function as a controlled well capitalized single unit while each college functions independent of each other. It’s not strategy from the top down, it’s from the bottom up. Agree Mick, but I don't see the B10 , Hockey East or NCHA stepping up to join the" ...

Re: Hockey Schedule

I was under the impression we had a two home games with Penn State as well. All of our OOC games are on the road : North Dakota (2), PSU (2), Mich (2) and Notre Dame (2). We don't have one stinking OOC home game at Dwyer. I'm surprised we didn't schedule a lower tier ECAC foe at Dwyer, just AHA home...

Re: AHA: Robert Morris reinstated ?

Ain't that the truth Philly ! I'm not sure if you read the entire article but the Board member who is the GM For Pitt Steelers' RESIGNED after the renegade Prez unilaterally dismantled the hockey programs. There was NO consensus on the Board of Trustees to dump both programs. He lied ! He (PREZ) cla...

I'm not sure a college Prez can unilaterally dismantle sports programs without the formal approval ...

Re: AHA Contracting

Thanks Millsy. If Tenn State forms a program, they suddenly have a travel partner with UAH. BTW, the Nashville Predators will co-sponsor the program if school commits to D1 status. Not sure if many know this : " Tennessee ( METRO NASHVILLE) has become one of the country's fastest growing states...

Re: AHA Contracting

Millsy: Do you think it's possible a new league (CHA) could be formed to accommodate Zona State, Lindenwood, Augustana, LIU, UAH and maybe Tenn State ? Lots of geography . Then there are the two Alaska schools.
