I definitely think the AHC should make them pay by taking on the expansion teams and then splitting into 2. However to split they probably need to get to 16 as 8 would be a good size conference. Another respectable loss 7-5 to Arizona eliminates Canisius. Some of the other scores in this tournament have been huge blowouts: 23-2,29-15,20-1,16-3,17-1,16-2,24-1,21-1,24-4 and 21-7. Reminds me of little league scores.

This team put it all together in the last month and a half. Very proud of their performance in the tournament as they gave us a lot of thrills over these last few days knocking out the 1,2 and 4 seeds. Two completely different halves of the season and lots to look forward to next season.

Still going. Game resumes at 2pm today with Rider leading 5-3 after 4 innings. What a thriller of events these last three days.

Listed as a weather delay. Not sure if they will wait or resume in the morning. FYI this team has made a fantastic turnaround since mid-April when they were 3-25. They have been 19-6 since then including knocking out the two prohibitive favorites in this tournament, Fairfield and Marist.

After 4 innings Niagara trails Rider 5-3 so it is still anyone's game with 5 innings to go. At 1:00AM I cannot stay up any longer. I wonder if a curfew will be called and play to resume in the morning as there appears to be a delay in starting the 5th inning..

The reasoning has to be so that the winner does not have to play 3 games in one day. However, this game is definitely going past midnight so not sure how that applies.
