The way the game started it seemed as if NU would blow out the Griffs . The stats were so one sided and yet it was just a one goal lead . Very frustrating because the situation couldn't have been scripted any better for NU to host the championship game at home . Mediocrity and getting sent home ever...

The poor attendance is not surprising given the poor marketing of the respective programs by both NU and CC . You can't be obscure all season long and then expect fan support come playoff time . It's too bad because the games are affordable and entertaining .
