Re: SPU advances to the Elite 8

Congrats to our brothers from Jersey City. Let’s move on to the Final Four. Realistically , it’s possible in my opinion.

Re: Niagara's Hammond, Hill enter transfer portal

A decent group of returning young players will be returning. Coach P will have to add three or so junior college players or transfers to this squad.

Re: "MAAC Tourney Thread": Rider shocks Iona !

Wide open is an understatement. Maybe a slight edge to Saint Peter’s if they can advance tonight against Fairfield U.
Mickey makes a very good point since three New Jersey schools are still in the quarter-finals .

Re: #6 NU @ #9 Rider : ESPN+

I didn’t watch the game nor do I comment much. It’s interesting to note that both Iorio and Cintron each played 12 minutes tonight . Just me , but Kakumensu and Triore don’t rebound or defend very well. Why has Coach Paulus decided to significantly alter the chemistry of this team?

Re: NU Hosts Canisius -Battle Of The Bridge: ESPN 3

Cintron has vastly improved in both ends of the court and anytime Marcus H. puts up 25 points , NU should prevail. How about Thomasson driving the lane and play big. Suddenly the Purps have discovered another offensive weapon to supplement Hammy.

Re: Gazette: No. 17 Ohio State struggles past Niagara

We have enough guards this year. The two freshmen (Brown and Tomm.) are taking minutes away from sophomore S. Brown and Roberts. Our freshmen guards are bigger and stronger than Shannon B and Roberts.

Re: SU over NU : The knee

I'm not a vet, however my Dad and uncles all served in WWII in combat . These spoiled brats have no idea what sacrifice means. As far as I'm concerned, anybody insulting those who served and spit on our flag shouldn't be allowed to wear the the Niagara uniform. Yes, my interest is diminishing. I don...

Re: You Tube: 2005 MAAC Championship - Niagara-Rider

This had to be the best Niagara team since the Calvin Murphy years in early 1970's. Other notable teams that come to mind are the Brian Clifford teams under Jack Armstrong ( early 90's) . The underachieving Kevin Jobity, OConner, Piweka, JJ Johnson and Alvin Young squads in the mid 90's and the Joe ...

Re: Canisius at Niagara: ESPN3 (FREE) / Buff News preview

We were out rebounded 40 -27 , but won the points in the paint battle. A very strange stat.
As coach said, it was a great team effort with everybody contributing. Hammonds came who big in the 2nd half with hot shooting from the elbow and beyond.
