Re: NU & Main Street
Just got back from a visit to Niagara to interview some candidates from the Sports Admin program for summer internships. I thought I’d pass along some updates on Niagara Falls. The north end is a vast array of empty buildings. It’s time to consider bringing in the bull dozers and demolishing every b...

Re: College Hockey Portal Open/ NU: Hoskin, Wallace and Ahearn.
Philly, you hit the nail right on the head. Our low tuition yield is killing us. For every one thousand dollars of tuition money with 2500 students that’s $2.5 million a year. Re: Niagara Not going D3
This originated with the idiot former adjunct professor who thinks he is still a 12 year old class clown. I spoke to our AD two days ago and he gave me no indication about this occurring. We had a very good conversation about the implications of NU being “in” on the House proposal. The Voy board has...

Re: "This Year, It’s March Calmness"
While we are not in the league(s) mentioned here is an interesting take on the difference between Football and non football schools. Our former AD, EdMcLaughlin has a role in this USA Today article. A side note, by opting in individuals can now deduct contributions to the university to be used to pa...

Re: NU Federal Funding
I think the answer for Niagara is to bring Elon Musk to campus for an hour or so the next time he visits his battery plant in Buffalo. (Has he ever been there?) That should give him enough time to cut the waste in Niagara Falls for both Niagara and U.S.
