Re: Justin Hawkins & Reggie Prudhomme Jr. commit
Hopefully Reggie can play a full 40 minutes of hoops as last season’s squad lacked a true PG. With an Assist to Turnover Ratio of over 2:1, I believe he’s up to the task!

Re: NCAA Hockey Tournament / Bentley - BC, Friday: ESPNU
Just read about the Bentley-BC game. Wow, the Falcons gave the Eagles one heck of a scare! Good for them!

Re: NU AD: "NU is committed to being in Division I."
I commend Simon and the university leadership for making the investment to stay in D1 until (at the very least) the dust settles from the player/labor revolution that has occurred over the last few years. It may mean D1 College Basketball going the way of College Football with a FBS Division and a F...

Re: UConn takes a different approach with risk
Just like the hockey rink, NU took the penny wise, pound foolish approach with the Golisano Science Building. While it’s a beautiful building, it’s just too damn small. My son, who is studying biomedical science with a Chem minor at St. Lawrence U. thought NU was the prettiest of the 15 campuses he ...

Re: Hoskin and Ahearn make AHA All conference teams
I learned that Ahern entered the portal. Hopefully after dipping his toes in the waters he ends up returning to NU for 1 more season. The grass isn’t always greener….

Re: Army at Niagara / Mick ?
Good points, Philly. NU missed the boat by not investing in a School of Engineering decades ago! Heck, even little Manhattan U. has one.

Re: Army at Niagara : Game 3
Yup, another penny wise, pound foolish decision made by the Vincentians of yesteryear.

Re: Army at Niagara : Game 3
Here is Lammers' overall record at NU: 113-145-27. Sorry, but a William Mattar-esque win percentage of.444 over 8 years just doesn't cut it, IMHO. Time to cut bait. To me, the only reason why NU should stay D1 is Men's Hockey. The school should invest in it as its flagship program. NU just can't do ...
