The early season schedule seems more reasonable for Niagara, but I am surprised of the lack of "money games" for the hockey team.

Yes, that was just the out of conference schedule. That gap will be filled with league games. I imagine there may be a league game or two after the Colgate series as well, then the rest of the league games begin again after the game at St. Lawrence.

Yes, thanks.

Do you expect any other OOC games to be added?

I think Union and maybe RPI owe us a game at home.

Thanks for the updates !

I like the schedule consisting of more traditional eastern programs (ECAC) with a higher chance of success. Lammers has to start moving up in the league standings for long-term survival purposes. Money games are obviously important for AHA programs, but at some point being simply cannon fodder serves no useful purpose other than cash. We maybe getting some "dough" from the Miami weekend, maybe J. Barry can chirp in here. NU needs to market the hell out of the SLU and CGate home games at Dwyer.

Not this year. 8 plus 26 league games gives 34, the maximum allowed. One exhibition is also allowed(NDTP). The only way to get a couple more games is in an exempt tournament which is usually found at the beginning of the season.

Full schedule is up on purpleeagles.com now. AHC also has composite schedule up. One difference between the 2 schedules is the exhibition game. AHC has Niagara at Canisius on October 1 where Niagara still has the USNDTP game in November. I may venture a guess that both are on as the USNTDP may be an exempt game.

Here is the complete NU AHA schedule as NE mentioned.

The cost of a season ticket for NU Hockey is extremely reasonable. I'm surprised NU can't sell out the chairback section and sky box.

2022-23 MEN'S HOCKEY SEASON TICKET PRICES
Premium Seats (food voucher included): $500 (sky box)
Chairback (Adult): $175
General Reserved (Adult): $135

Purple & White Member Chairback: $150
Purple & White Member General: $105

The updated Niagara Hockey schedule is up on pe.com. Niagara has three traditional ECAC home dates with SLU (1) and Colgate (2). I would hope all three of these "ECAC" games are near sellouts at Dwyer. Also of note, NU only has two games with Canisius with both contests being played in Buffalo. On the other hand, NU has four games with Mercyhurst.

Why would the scheduling guru not make the 2 game series with Canisius an away and home game for the 2 teams not 1 hour apart? Is a college hockey 2 game series always at the home of one team with no exceptions?
I think the Pros allow such.
