Niagara 72, Siena 71- Kuakumensah 17 -Camper 21
Canisius 95, Rider 86 -Johnson 18 -Marshall 31
Marist 83, Iona 73 -Herasme 17- Gist 15

Pre-season favorites Iona and Rider continue to slump badly. Honestly at this point, I think there are probably nine teams capable of winning the MAAC this year. I would only exclude the Griffs and Marist from this group ;its really that wide open !

Iona does it again picking up New Mexico St transfer Robert Brown. He is a 6'9 PF from Duncanville, TX.

Good pick up for Iona by signing another viable big man, but Cluess needs to get back on the bench asap cause this team is slumping badly.

When the Iona men's basketball team christens the renovated Hynes Athletics Center Wednesday night, it will do so without head coach Tim Cluess.

The five-time MAAC tournament champion is still away from the team to address his health. The 60-year old has been absent the last two weeks for undisclosed reasons, including Saturday's season-opening 70-64 overtime loss at La Salle.

"Iona head coach Tim Cluess will not be in attendance at Wednesday night's game vs. Ohio as he continues to monitor a health matter," the college said in a statement. "In his place, Tra Arnold will serve as acting head coach. The Iona community will respect coach Cluess' privacy and looks forward to his speedy return to the sidelines."...

FYI St Bona is playing at number 7 Dayton Flyers on CBSSN . Started at 7 pm. Bona is still playing wthout it's veter Osun Osunniyi who is still in concussion protocol and is hanging with the Flyers 25-22 with about 7min to go in the 1st half.

Marist beats Manhattan 75-73 in OT. It looked like they would beat them in regulation but Man. hit a three with 10 seconds left to tie. So now there is three way tie for first place. BTW Bonnie’s eventually got blown out be Dayton.

I really can't figure out this league this year. There is so much parity evidenced by the Marist win over Manhattan last night. Are Monmouth and Qpac really the two best teams in the MAAC ? I doubt it.
