The MAAC continues to fall; where is the accountability? Leadership?

Niagara University President Named Vice President of the MAAC

NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. (August 19, 2019) – The Rev. James J. The MAAC seems down again this year after another slow start. The League should go 2-1 Friday night at the very minimum. I thought with the new venues at MU, QU , and FU , the league would have turned it up a notch. NU, SPU , MC, CC, Marist and Rider continue to play in glorified HS gyms. This can’t help recruiting .

Looks like play in game in Dayton against a MEAC or SEAC team. By the way, whats up with the WAC?

The WCC is the Western Conference with Zaga, Saint Mary’s , San Diego, etc. The WAC is a mismatch of schools . ..BTW , America East formerly the “Least”’is playing very good ball from top to bottom . Up until about 3-4 years ago, the Maac was always ranked higher than America Least.

To be rated down there with the perennial bottom feeders of Div 1 is sad. Bryant wasn't D1 until just a few years ago and it seems like the MAAC is on par with schools like Incarnate Word and below Elon and Liberty. Sign of the times, that fans and money are scarce and the facilities third-rate in the bottom 5 conferences?

So true MR. 1971 .

Sign of the times, that fans and money are scarce and the facilities third-rate in the bottom 5 conferences?

Last night, the MAAC went 3-0 which is a positive with a few of the stronger clubs in the league registering wins...Good win for QU over UA...Does anybody know if any Iona transfers become eligible to play after the 1st semester ?

GRiffs Bona at Key Bank Center downtown. 2nd half of DH with Daeman hosting wilmington . Daeman, coached by Mike McDonald is ranked No. 1 in the East in D II.
Interesting to see how many thousands flock downtown for the games.

Griffs beat Bona's downtown today . I wonder if Bonnies will ever play there again.
4,000 in the stands --shitty turnout in WNY. If Bonnies had a better team the numbers probably would have been higher.
