Need to back up last night's tie/ win tonight on our newly improved Dwyer Center.
Great seeing veterans close out at RIT with the 2OT goal.

NU's Ben Sokay went unassisted to the net in just 36 seconds in,
1-0 5 minutes in.

Dwyer looks great with the decor improvements especially on the bench wall.

NU still down 2-1 in 33rd. NU looked pretty listless on the PP. Where is Mills ?

Dwyer seems dead ---lots of ROT fans in the house.

3-1 ROT with 3 mins remaining. Another disappointing evening for NU Hockey .

ROT players on their feet on the bench in the 3rd. NU's players all sitting .

We can't generate any offense on home ice ? 1 goal ? This is the essentially the same team as last year. ROT has an all freshmen line with like 10-12 goals .

Home after the game munching on chicken wings. If I was younger after the game tonight I probably would have stopped at the local Tavern and try to drink the game out of my mind.

AS le and jhart pointed out no offense whatsoever. The Niagara goal was a quick shot in the first minute of play. The second period was all ROT, just peppering Veltri with shot after shot. Niagara played good defense but again the offense could not get out of it's way. After 8 games you would think a couple of players would step up by now however no one has.

ROT outshot NU 30-17. 2nd per rot outshot NU 15-5 on HOME ICE Attendance given as 819 a good amount of ROT fans. No Students at all. They may be on break (the student section was empty for the Womens' BB game) So far the season which was so full of hope and optimism has turned into a bust. Next week two games against the equally helpless Canisius Golden Griffs at the newly renamed LECOM Harborcenter

Efkay: Thanks for the game report.

I only watched part of the second period and the 3rd, but it was a listless performance. I wonder what the coach has to say re the poor performance of his team? This is not a rebuilding or reloading year, it's year three. It's time to win ! This team was picked to finish second in the AHA a few votes out of first place. I'm not attached to the program by any means ; I have no plausible explanation. As you said, it's a bust season to date.
