Th Griffs are stinking it up as well this season...I would have thought their recruiting would have picked up by playing at the Harborcenter.

Dates: Friday, Nov. 15 | Saturday, Nov. 16

I just fired off an e mail to the BUFFALO NEWS decrying the lack of any mention of this weekend's Battle of the Bridge in their sports section today. I buy day passes now for the GAZETTE to keep up on coverage of Niagara (and U.B.).

I also asked the NEWS to followup on last night's epic 4th quarter collapse by U.B. football at Kent State. In the final 7 minutes the Bulls blew a 27-6 lead and gave up 24 points to allow Kent to win 30-27, Poor special teams but more importantly extremely poor coaching , something which plagued the programs beginning with last years MAC Championship.

Anyways at this point I am literally burned out from the lack of success in Niagara hockey, Big 4 basketball not to mention the Bills and the Sabres. I don't know if I will be at the Battle this weekend, again I am just frustrated . HELP guys !

Following a losing team can be tough. I know that Coach Lammers was expecting more from this year's hockey team. I strongly believe that he is a very good coach but sometimes sports teams do underperform.
I believe it is important to show support for programs even in down years if one believes in the core, such as the coaching and administration. They may even appreciate some encouragement since they also hurt when their expectations are not met.

Gonna give Philly Ed Fr. Dunne's collar!
Efkay, sending Fr. Vince O'Malley over to provide support.
Let's hope we have a good weekend on the ice.

I'm going to suggest that when we have 4 games with ROT and CC that each weekend be a home and home to draw larger crowds.

I concur in the statement that Lammers is an excellent coach and has demonstrated such in his two years at NU. This year's early funk is totally inexplicable. I sense with all the Bills and Sabre hype in WNY, it's difficult to find time to cover two AHA teams with a combined record of 0-13-1. At this point, there is "no juice" to cover these two teams. I don't understand how AIC and SHU can out perform NU and CC based on our proximate location to the fertile recruiting grounds in Southern Ontario. I just don't get it--makes no f-----g sense !

End of the 1st NU leads 1-0 on even handed goal by Kendall from Naumovski and get this , Veltri. We have held the lead after 1 in almost every game, can we hold?
