What is going on at Mercyhurst? AIC 12-0 in the third on the road.

What is going on with AIC and SHU the former doormats of the AHA? Attractive areas to live, but far from the rich recruiting fields in Ontario. We have to do a better job recruiting being so close to the hottest bed of junior hockey in the world. Honestly, I've been to games at both SHU and AIC, they were both high school environments up until 2-3 years ago... I don;t get the picture here. It must be coaching ... How can CC be so bad playing at the HC downtown .. .

The penalty bug finally hits hard. A 5 minute major and CC strikes just 16 seconds into it.

I think Ryan Cook who got the game misconduct is a freshman.

Actually Ryan Cook is a Senior transfer from Merrimack. When it rains it pours

Had a great chance for a comeback but blew it with a penalty with a minute and a half to go. CC took a 5 minute major then another 2 minute penalty and NU scored 11 seconds later. However with the major lasting through the third Niagara gets a tripping call.

We are back to the bottom of the AHA. Makes no sense. The bottom has fallen out on NU Hockey after so such promise after being picked to finish 2nd in the league, and after last season's run into the AHA final. We can't even compete with a 1-6-0 Griffs squad. If there is ever a time for a must win, it is tomorrow at Dwyer. To put things in proper perspective, Romo is now 18 points ahead of NU in the standings.
