No, not pretty.
MC playing good "D" and forcing NU.
Looking forward to some halftime adjustments.
MC shooting 43% to NU;s 30%, first half.

Noah on the bench and dressed, no boot.

MC won 67-62. NU couldn't overcome a really bad first half. Officiating was suspect. Didn't matter. NU just couldn't make a play at the end when the chances presented themselves. Credit to MC for harassing Townes all game. Lots of grabbing and bumping that wasn't called. Never really let him play downhill like he likes. MacDonald had a decent shooting game. Paulus did light into Hammond, Kratholm and Roberts for not going after loose balls. Sat them for an extended period time in the second half. It would have been nice to sweep at home but I'll take some splits this year.

If you think the NU game had some poor shooting, I just saw the result of Fairfield/Canisius. FU won 46-42. The score at half was 18-16. The paying customers should demand their money back!

Thanks Suge for game report from the GC. I missed the game but will watch it on ESPN plus replay. Sounds like MC played some tough D forcing NU to shoot poorly from the field. The Jaspers swept the WNY trip which is always a very difficult assignment . They should be a factor in the MAAC. ..Rider beat Siena in Jersey whole surprising SPU remained hot defeating Marist at home. The Griffe seem to be imposters this year .

Where MacDonald and Soloman were lights out Friday, they missed shots this afternoon that would have helped NU complete the comeback. But I am psyched for the future with these guys playing the 2 and 3!

You can certainly see the outline of a good team, despite a limited roster.

Wow Mike, that commitment is not one Niagara would have got in the past. Beat out several higher level conferences and D1 FCS Football caliber too. He should be solid physically.
