Terrific win in a tough place to win by a undermanned gritty team. Its a shame they aren't taller but they aren't. Gutsy performance, really fun to watch, its been quite a while since you could say that about NU bball.

Listened to the game on my computer. We never used to win close games. Now I listen until the final buzzer sounds.
Great win--Great game.

Still in shock that the Purps were able to win going small at Iona-huge W for the Purps!

Siena’s getting crushed right now at Manhattan. The Saints are good enough to go undefeated at home and winless on the road this season!

Regarding the AAC, I like the Shockers chances of winning their Conference Tournament and playing into the 2nd weekend in the NCAAs!

If you’re going small you have to hit your 3s—nuf said!

With this big win, NU currently sits in 5th place(only four games in) in the MAAC behind the likes of Qpac, Siena, Rider and Manhattan. I'm not sure any of us envisioned that development coming at any point this season.

NU hosts Rider and Siena this coming weekend.
Hope some students are back and we get a good crowd.
