I just received the NU story of Women's lacrosse announcing the recruitment of Lois Garlow. From the write up , she seems to me to be the most highly acclaimed recruit in Any sport since Calvin. Lois is from the Cattaraugus reservation in WNY and is a 2 time All American . Apparently, sHe initially committed to Coastal Carolina but something happened. She will be eligible for the Spring season. The women’s coach seems to be doing a great job with the program. Wishing Lois and the team much success.

Great news!

Garlow Added To Women's Lacrosse Roster

– Niagara University women's lacrosse head coach Wendy Stone announced today the addition of Lois Garlow to the team roster. Garlow, a freshman, joins the Purple Eagles ahead of their season opener on February 14.

"We are very excited to officially announce that Lois will be joining our team this spring," Stone said. "She brings international experience, had an outstanding high school career, and we are confident that she will have an immediate impact on our program. We are thrilled to officially welcome her into the Purple Eagle lacrosse family.".... ... oster.aspx

UAlban has one of the best men's lacrosse programs in America and the key players are all from the Cattaraugus reservation!

Alas, no men's lacrosse at NU!
