Amazing turn around vs Friday night. Again, the super energetic defense was a key. You do not lose many games when you only have 2 Turnovers. Hammond hit some key shots whenever Quinnipiac showed any life. Towns is super quick and played within himself. He deserves our congrats on also joining the 1000 point club at NU.

Towns 8 of 9 from the field and he did not, I repeat, did not take any 3's. He should stick with that game plan and boost his confidence big time.

Great bounce back effort. I'm a big fan of Dunleavy but I thought it was a bad idea to play zone against us. Maybe he was trying to hide Kelly on defense. If not for the dicey officiating in the second half, the outcome would have been worse. You guys have the rest. The blueprint this team needs to follow to win is to take care of the ball and take---and make--- good shots.

I’m with you guys, they should pay me not to watch the games. Every game I watch is a loss. Good to see Towns playing within himself and not forcing things. It’s positive that Kauk, Hammonds and Solo had bounce back games.

Didn't see the game, but very impressive win after a poor effort in the last game. Let's hope it "sinks in" and they understand that good energy brings good things to the court. Great job by all with minimal turnovers and finding open shots.

Lots to unpack here. Three turnovers were a program record, and one of the three was a give up on the last possession.

Towns is an effective closer but was uncharacteristically bad from the stripe. Hammond broke out again. Brown was huge on defense. Kuak was good.

Quinnipiac's #20 had about as bad a game as you can imagine. 0-8 with 7 TOs.

Quinnipiac's defense was puzzling, especially after how Marist handled NU on Friday.

Anyway:

Good article Mike. I can' think of the last team that played D with such effort. Kudos to Shannon Brown for his intensity on D, it's contagious !
