Atmosphere was incredible. Brought me back to when I was a student. Paulus got on the mic after the game to thank everyone for coming. Towns played like a senior down the stretch. Hammonds played like he was senior. Two of them willed us to victory. Kratholm has a noticeable limp. Even looked like he had a brace on one of his knees. Couldn't get an update.

Reggie is going to get fired. I thought he made the necessary adjustments on offense but the decision to go zone on defense was questionable.

Suge thanks for the game report. As Phily said , coach Reggie should have posted up both his bigs and played ping pong all night without Kauk to defend. GP continues to get it done with the smallest lineup in D1 basketball . We are not going to win 3-4 games in Jersey , but these guys stopped the bleeding and continue to pull wins out their back pocket ( Ass). Amazing.

Truly a great win. Hugely overmatched down low and still got it done in a big rivalry game. Just imagine what Paulus will be able to do when he gets some big bodies! Go Purps!!

Fun game. NU outrebounded 28-10 in the second half. Points in the paint numbers a bit skewed as the bulk of Canisius' FTs (16-21 vs. 8-11 for NU) were on fouls drawn on the offensive glass.

Griffs missed a ton of clean looks. Niagara made the bigger plays. Purple Eagles were +15 with Kuak in the game.

I follow this forum, but really don't post much.

Just a quick observation which many have touched upon, Canisius missed many open looks in the second half especially late in the game. If they hit a couple of those trays, maybe the outcome of the game would have been different.

The Griffins have to be the weakest team in this league.

We are so undersized, but I love the moxie of this team under the new coach.
