Fairfield got a commitment from 6’8” Supreme Cook from East Orange NJ. He had previously committed to Columbia. That gives the Stags 14 scholarship players, so some one is leaving or paying his own way. Fairfield previous picked up a 6’8” transfer from Rice about a week or two ago.

Pitino announced his roster.... Weiss and Carey are walk-ons so he did get down to 13 scholarships.

The school announced Vincent Eze is not returning now.

There are turn styles in the NYC subways that haven’t seen people coming and going like roster moves at Fairfield, Iona and Stony Brook. After Iona brings in scholarship player 15 Omar Rowe, Isaiah Washington announces he’s transferring out. So some one else still has to leave

Regarding the NYC subway turnstiles and only one on site in the city, ridership has gone up from 5% to 10%; NYC and NYS are broke.
Hope union contracts and pensions are part of the solution.

Jim, the City will have to declare bankruptcy before the City union pensions are in play. Same in Philly. Theses governments Never have anything funded into reserves, but they like making gifts to the folks on the payrolls for their votes.

Yes , Washington was a very goof player for Iona . RP is reloading the roster so no worries according to their fan base .

As for the other “stuff“ in the Northeast , don’t miss it one bit.

If Green transferred after not playing a year and got a free year's education, how is that not possibly fraud?
Where Is the line drawn?
