Iona commit Darreus Brown has reopened his recruitment. Brown is a JUCO PG but was a Cluess recruit.

MAAC teams, CC, and Siena plus other upstate teams and out to Ohio, all reasonable by bus. OSU, X, Colgate, UA,SU, Cleve St, Dayton, UB, Bowling Green, Bonnies.

Makes sense!

Maybe a few Western PA schools : Robert Morris, Duquesne University, PSU , Pitt...

Salnave was MU's best player IMO. This is a bit hit for MU.

Manhattan adds Anthony Nelson. Transfer from Seton Hall. Seems like a big get.

Yes, a very good get for the Jaspers. He should help ease the pain of losing Greene.

Nelson is from nearby Harlem.
Does he sit for a year or a grad transfer?

Looks like Nelson has to sit one without a waiver. Has two years to play. Was a 4 star kid out of HS.

Iona adds another in 6'5 SG Omar Rowe. Played HS ball in SC last year but is originally from Long Island. I don't know what the scholarship situation is at Iona but Rowe will replace the JUCO play that just recommitted recently.

Still unsure about the # of scholarships Iona has but Isaiah Washington has entered the transfer portal. Washington started his career at Minnesota which is coached by the younger Pitino. Washington took to Twitter after the elder Pitino was hired to voice his displeasure in a tweet that was later deleted. A couple of Iona "insiders" are saying that the Pitino hire wasn't the reason Washington is leaving suggesting it might be academics. You can draw your own conclusions. Big loss depending on who they replace him with.
