Ok, my hockey knowledge is minimal much like the rest of my brain power today. In a college game, how many shots or shots on goal is normal. Just the number of 77 shots sounds like a wild one even if they were errant.

That's still a a lot of shots at the NU netminder. It tells me that MC controlled the play in NU's offensive end and spent a ton of time there. SOG run about 30-35 a game. It can vary in a tight defensive game with SOG in the 20's.
