Can’t win too many games at any level shooting 34 percent from the floor.

Agree!
I took a pass today for my mental health here in isolation.
Watched some really good CBK
Now FB Playoffs. Go Bills!
Long ride back to campus after an underperforming weekend.
Team needs some soul searching as they are better than what they did in the city.
Also, the lack of alumni participation on this site is at the very least disappointing.
I just don't get it!

Didn't tune in. I'm not convinced they learned much from last year. Certainly they are not playing like veterans/upper classmen in a conference that's not exactly stacked. Was the FG% due to taking too many bad shots? In the past, lots of 3s got jacked up vs. driving to the hoop and hitting the open man or finishing. Disciplined/mature teams understand getting the better and best shots.

NU will not win many games shooting 2-13 from 3 pt land. Disappointed that they have regressed with really no inside post plays. It is tough watching a college BBall game with no fans. I feel like I am watching a scrimmage.
They really miss Roberts with his 3 pt shooting. Brown is a decent point guard but they need a shooter. MacDonald has to be shooting and hitting 3s to add anything. Tough when Hammond leads the team in rebounds. This was not a good series for NU. At sometime, the frosh have to get playing time.

A bigger concern is their 2 point shooting percentage which is just 44.6% on the season. They shoot only 32.3% from 3 point land but if you factor in the additional point gained they are better off shooting the 3's. They only took 13 3 point shots that game. In the entire 347 team Division 1 only 1 team Lehigh averages less than 14 attempts a game. The average is 22 with a dozen schools 30 and above. Niagara averages 21 which is average but fall to about 232 of the 347 schools in 3 points made. They rank 318 out of 347 in 2 point shots made. If you don't have an inside game it is easier to defend the 3. Open up your inside game and the 3's become more open.
