Agree Mike. Totally messed up year with far too many distractions. According to the box score our guards in Hammonds and Robert’s did not perform well. Need better bigs even to compete in the upper tier of the MAAC. I hope Solo returns .

In what world (Ensor) does the #1 seed and #2 seed lose in the quarter-finals ? Now, we have a #7 seed playing a #9 seed in the championship game. Since Ensor moved the "EMPTY" MAAC T to championship weekend, ESPN coverage has regressed from ESPN, ESPN 2 to the "U". Brilliant !

I actually think NU signed another guard from a prep school in New England who was originally from the Albany area. Traore should have a future as a big at NU but more upfront help is needed. Since college turnover is not over 33%, the transfer portal will be active again.

Just saw that Iona win the MAAC. At least, NU has a coach we can be proud of. Personally, I think it is a disgrace that Pitino was given another chance.

I believe everyone gets an extra year of eligibility. Nwandu and Roberts were likely in their first year of grad school this year. Our three other seniors will likely graduate in June and have an option of grad school at NU or elsewhere. Cintron had planned on sitting this past year and joining the team next year. I understand Kratholm is a serious bio major, might even be looking at med school or he might want another year as a bio grad student @ the Golisano Center. We are actually in a better position now than we were a year ago when three of our four big men would have used their eligibility and moved on in June. May be the real recruiting will take place without leaving campus starting with the five seniors and red shirt seniors.

How many players can a NCAA basketball team have?
15 players

On a college basketball team, there can be up to 15 players on a team, but only 13 players may sit on the bench and suit up. The other two players are not allowed to sit on the bench but behind it.

OK, seniors get the option of another year---how about underclassman?

Do all players get a pass for 2020-21?

If, how many players can a team carry for 2021-22? If all seniors elect to stay and no one transfers, no room for anyone to be recruited, right?

No matter the scenario, looks to me like fewer scholies this year for high school seniors.

Players cannot elect to stay beyond their graduation, they have to be offered by the school so there is no guarantee of an extra year even if the NCAA allows it.
