Did NU really shoot 0-6 from beyond the arc? I think we have to be patient with this team with many new faces in the line-up. We didn’t cover the spread, tough to sugarcoat this one .

Agree that 3 pt shooting seems to be a major weakness. A team the size of Niagara needs this to be a strength in today’s college basketball. The fact that Niagara took less than 5 three pointers says a lot.I am sure Thomasson will have much better games .I wonder if the injured Kasperzyk is a 3 pt shooter.

When was the last time a NU squad failed to convert a trey in modern history? 13 assists is pretty impressive.

With NU's obvious inability to hit 3's , there's no doubt that opposing teams will play a zone defense against them . Hopefully someone on the team will step up and provide some perimeter offense . To their credit they hung in there for a good part of the game .
