Interesting article about athletic spending at UCONN. Unless one has a Power 5 football team, the athletic budgets at most of these schools make no sense.
Personally, I think the Bid East made a major mistake by allowing a big spending State school in the mix.

Yeah, nothing more than Big East greed by allowing UC back in the fold. The NCAA Tourney earnings combined with network TV money for both of their men's and women's hoops was too lucrative to pass on.
