This video of a Mercyhurst hockey player is beyond shameful. Disturbing. The "punk" should be suspended foe at a least 6 games if he returns.

https://www.espn.com/college-sports/sto ... r-incident

"A source close to the ASU hockey program told ESPN that Briere was dismissed for "a clear violation of team rules" and "was not a culture fit" with that team. The source said Briere's dismissal wasn't the result of a single incident but rather stemmed from repeated behavior for which he received multiple warnings."

It’s probably good for the college hockey fan base in WNY with CC advancing to the NCAA’s . The media in WNY will be forced to cover Griffs participation in the Tourney. It’s a big story !

1,800 at the HC last night for the championship game.

Some splash in the WNY media this morning :

It is almost an ironclad guarantee that Canisius plays Minnesota in Fargo, ND. Minnesota will be the number 1 overall seed and Canisius is much lower than even Colgate so to protect the number 1 seed that is the likely outcome. I don't expect Minnesota to lose but the Canisius goaltender is top notch and hopefully they keep it to a very low scoring game.
