BASEBALL FOUR GAMES AT GEORGE MASON

Post by jhart »

After dropping a DH Saturday NU won both games Sunday to get to 4-3 overall.
I consider this early season a success.
Next up is a west coast trip to Oregon for again I don't understand the reason.
That's two programs going to Oregon in recent weeks.
I will ask.

The women’s softball team is spending 10+/- days in Hawaii for a few different tournaments. Sure beats spending 10 days in WNY at this time of year, or really any time of year!

We are 0-5 so far in Hawaii but it's a once in a lifetime adventure.
Another game tomorrow before heading home.

Portland and then U of Oregon—I wonder if Nike has some hand in paying for this trip….

Senior Marcus Cashman from Norwich NY has been named MAAC Player of the Week for 2nd week allowing only six hits, no runs in ten innings over two games.
