Thanks Dave.
Re: Note to Forum members
Dave, I would be remiss for not recognizing your commitment to the blog you created and nurtured over the years!
With the recent rejuvenation of participants, let's let The Niagara blog keep flowing.
Thank You from your alter ego.
We need to advise coaches to give heads up to their graduating team members about the site.

Re: Note to Forum members
Much appreciated that there is a forum to follow the Purple Eagles with no pop-ups, politics, nonsense. Sometimes we don't appreciate the work that goes on behind the scenes. As a past president of a military support club, I understand that the majority of work and effort is not seen, and that which is seen can be criticized by those on the sidelines who can "lob grenades" but won't step up to help. Being in Georgia, I can't get to games anymore but this forum helps keep us all interested and in the know.
Now, let's hope the staff is able to recruit some size and talent for next season.

If you have DSL, fiber or cable internet you can easily subscribe to ESPN+ for all for NU's games for about 10-12 bucks a month. The broadcast quality has really come a long way and is of HD quality most of the time. It's not overly complicated to set up as ESPN has a customer service line. You can "cast" to a TV on the Chrome browser or if you have smart TV, it's even easier. You can also watch ESPN+ on your notebook, Ipad, phone etc...

Thanks LE....i did watch a game or two that was broadcast on ESPN at no cost. I'll look at next season's team and see about subscribing. This season, I watched somewhere around 100 games or parts of games on the networks. After all that, I still can't predict the outcome of the tournament. Everyone is beatable and has streaks of poor defense or flat offense.
Re: Note to Forum members
NU provided ESPN+ to Purple Eagle donors above some level. I enjoyed their offer.
I give five figures.

U r a good man Jim, very generous ! Keep the good work up !
1971 : I forgot, ESPN 3 is free but I’m guessing it amounts to about 20-25 percent of the broadcasts. The balance are carried by ESPN+.
