Not surprising that Thomasson entered the portal , if he has NBA aspirations playing the MAAC won't help him one bit . He needs to play at higher level to assess where he's at .

"The Portal" surpassed the 1,000 player mark last week some time. At this point, recruiting HS seniors is asinine for Mid Majors. Things might change a little after the extra Covid year isn't there. Still, seems like a complete waste to spend any of your recruiting budget on HS players.
