BRASH WATCH
Re: BRASH WATCH
In 40 innings , Matt has 70 strike outs . A very impressive ratio to say the least .
Re: BRASH WATCH
After giving up two earned runs over the weekend, he came back and struck out the side last night and picked up the win against Minnesota. He is now 5-3 on the year with a 3.48 ERA.
Re: BRASH WATCH
He should be buying the Twins bullpen a couple of cases of beer after that implosion..... Ugh!
Re: BRASH WATCH
Brash has had and up, down and up week. Now at 3.53 ERA following today’s one inning scoreless appearance vs the Diamondbacks.
Re: BRASH WATCH
Brash picks up his second win in a week with a 6-2 decision over the RedSox. He faced four batters, eliminating all of them. He is now 6 and 3 on the year with a 3.43 ERA. Timing is everything!

Re: BRASH WATCH
He's having a fine season ranking at about the top 1/4 of relief pitchers. His strikeout to IP ratio is near the top and he's only given up 1 HR all year. Last year the most by any reliever was 11 wins but the best probably being 9-1. His walk numbers are down from last year. The only negative I can see is he gives up almost a hit per inning and there is where his ERA suffers.

Matt was in the right place at the right time to secure win and go 7-3 today.

Re: BRASH WATCH
He should be MLB player of the week. Not easy to win 3 games in a week.
Re: BRASH WATCH
With ten pitch inning Wednesday with no runs and two K's, Matt's ERA is down to 3.35.
Mariners like the Yankees are 3.5 behind a wild card spot.
