This from The Athletic :

Matt Brash (SEA): After highlighting his teammate last week, and Andrés Muñoz has converted all four save opportunities so far in August, Brash also has fantasy appeal, but as a win vulture. He recorded his eighth win of the season and collected four during 14 appearances in the second-half while racking up 19 strikeouts through 12.2 innings. Only one reliever has won 10 games in less than 60 innings in MLB history, Mike Dunn in 2014. Brash has logged 49.2 innings this year. He’s among four relievers with a chance at matching this feat this season:

With all due respect to my senior Mickey, Matt pitched the 8th today without a run with two K's.
ERA is down to 3.02.
This Purple Eagle is soaring in his 2nd season in the majors!

Matt was brought in again Thursday afternoon in the 9th with same 6-4 led v KC as last night.
He faced Velaquez first who hit a HR off him last night Brash' 2nd dinger of the season.
V went down swinging; then two put outs ended the game, 3 up 3 down for the save.
Going into today The Mariners were one game out of wild card.

The Mariners' regular closer must be hurt because it seems like Matt is pitching everyday . He's really become a very important part of their pitching staff . Hopefully he won't have to be used on Friday .
