Matt pitched the ninth inning and got the save in today’s game vs the Royals. ERA is now at 3.40. BTW if anyone wants a Brash Rookie card I have about 50 of them so just send a private message and I’ll send you one with my compliments.

Mariners just increased leading Houston to 6-2 in 5th.
Expect the manager will have Matt come in late in game.
MLB is carrying the game.

Altuve got his 2000 hit and was thrown out at 2nd trying to stretch single into a double.
Down 6-2 in 5th that's dumb and selfish, but that's BB today!
He did get a standing ovation! He's over a 1000 hits behind Astro's leading hitter, Biggio.
6-2 M's going into 6th who passed Toronto into WC last night.

Matt had a tough outing v KC giving up three hits, including his third HR of the season. He gave up two earned runs while only retiring two.
ERA moved to 3.60.
Mariners held on to win and are tied for conference lead in the west with Texas Rangers.

Another NU baseball player , Greg Cullen, was drafted a few years ago. He has bounced around the minor leagues since 2018. He is now part of the Atlanta organization playing for the Tides in Virginia . It looks like he has been injured all year constantly be assigned to rehab assignments.
Anyone know anything about the injury. It would be terrible for a young guy to end his career/ dream with an injury the minors.

Matt was brought in the 6th tonight v Mets after lead had gone from 3 to 1 run.
With two outs he struck out Alonso.
In 7th, he gave up one BB and recorded two K's to get his ERA to 3.37.
Mets announcer and former pitcher Ron Darling had high praise for Brash.
