Noah Thomasson, the leading scorer in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in 2022-23, announced Tuesday he is transferring from Niagara to Georgia. He has one year of eligibility remaining. Thomasson, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 19.5 points over 31 games last season

Noah will see a lot of competition on the team and in the conference. Hoping he excels, but fondly remembers his time at NU.

Anyways, UGA finished 11th in the SEC with an overall 6-12 record in SEC play. I would be shocked if the Dawgs are capable of moving up into the upper tier of the SEC next season despite all the changes. Good luck.

Agree with all your sentiments, LE. Would have been better for Noah to go elsewhere instead of Athens.

Hey Mike, it would pretty cool if Murph's grandson enrolls at Vandy and plays Georgia at home in Nashville. I would have to go to that game.

That would be a must see. I was at NU when Calvin Murphy Jr. suited up for Jack Armstrong's squad in the mid-90s.
