How about another walk off win in 9th with a SF by Nick Groves after Matt Ward homered in the inning to tie.

Those wins gave them a playoff spot too as MSM would have put them out with 2 wins in the series. Not only that but they clinched the 5th spot over Manhattan I believe as they won that series 2-1. They take on the 4 seed Quinnipiac on May 24 following the final game with MSM. Since that will not be for another 4 days there is no reason to hold back on some of their pitchers to save them for the playoffs. Armed Forces sounds like a pitchers battle to me as well.

Batting in bottom of 5th and with a 4-2 lead, we have a complete game if weather gets very poor.
Kobitowich started and pitched three scoreless innings.
C Cam Moore homered for NU in 4th.

NU swept The Mount at Bobo in prep for first round of tourney v Quinnipiac Wednesday at 3PM in Pomona, NY.
Coach used seven pitchers to get them some work.
Moore and Desjardins homered while Moore had four PB's.

Nice to see the team finish strong going into the tournament . As always , it'll come down to pitching and defense , let's hope that the Purps keep it rolling .
