I’m surprised Mick didn’t attend some these games being the “baseball” guy on the Forum . It really looks like a very nice facility in Ponoma. In years past , the MAAC sponsored the Tourney at Fishkill NY, Colonie NY, Troy NY, Trenton NJ, Lakewood NJ, Staten Island and Sal Maglie Stadium in NF's.

Lemoyne College still holds the record for the most MAAC Baseball Championships. NU has never won a MAAC Championship in baseball.

Will be interesting to see if they get a 3 seed in one of the 16 regionals. Rider ended up 99 in RPI in the 64 team NCAA field. However with many other auto bids there is the possibility they get a 3 instead of a 4 though it is unlikely that they are ahead of more than 10 schools so they probably avoid one of the top ranked teams at least. Fairfield ended up 119th so it appears the best team advanced.

As expected, Rider gets the #10 overall seed Coastal Carolina thereby being ranked ahead of 9 schools. Also in their regional Duke and UNC Wilmington.

Rider beat #10 Coastal Carolina 11-10. They were one of 3 teams to take down a top 16 host. The others were Oral Roberts beating #11 Oklahoma State 6-4 and Penn taking down #13 Auburn 6-3. Next up is Duke which beat UNC Wilmington 12-3.
