I'm cautiously optimistic even with the large influx of new faces in the line-up for NU. Only Bayless and Michell return as starters, but GP has added nine new players with college basketball experience. This quote by Bayless is quite telling: "We’re going against our own level, Bayless said. “Everyone’s good out here, so like we don’t have any weak links. Every day we’re just pushing each other to get better and it’s helping.”

It's so hard to project what type of team NU will be . With so many new faces finding that right chemistry is going to be a challenge for GP . On the plus side , the team should have plenty of quality depth which should make for some spirited competition . With the portal , I'm afraid we're going to be seeing new faces come and go every year .
