It is funny in life how the cards can fall. Niagara University is very lucky to have Coach Paulus as a representative of the university.

I agree with Philly on all points re GP and the upcoming season. We have a boat load of new juco's and transfers which will require some time to develop chemistry.
Just have to hope a basically new team without its leading scorer can jell early. NU needs a few guys to step up and become scorers for Niagara. I feel confident Coach will have players play good defense but scoring is an unknown.

For those interested, most of the MAAC 2023 season previews are up on the DDH site. A job well done by Jarden Daly.

I would be very surprised if Obioha is not starting for NU this year. His improvement in the second half of last year was significant.

I agree with philly , big Harlan finished last season strong . Any of these outside " sources " projecting starting lineups for NU in particular have no idea given the inordinate amount of new players .

Agree as well, but starting does not necessarily mean most playing time too so if Obioha doesn't start he may still play the most. Mitchell is likely a starter in my mind as well.

It's alarming to see the turnover on MAAC rosters due to the transfer portal from last season. I only recognize a few players on each projected stating lineup other than Niagara. I suspect "O" will get 20-25 minuets a game this season. Mitchell should be a starter as he brings a bunch to the table with vet leadership.
