FYI:
The Siena preview is up on DDH.
"Sean Durugordon, now a two-time transfer upon his arrival from Austin Peay. It remains to be seen whether or not Durugordon will receive a waiver to play this year."

Re: MAAC 2023 Season Previews/ Blue Ribbon projections
With all the transfers and roster attrition, these projections seem to have less relevance. Here is how Stag13 see's things:
I dont love the rankings. Still a lot of questions across ther board but here is how I see it:
1. Rider - Easily brought back the most all-MAAC talent
2. Iona - Top retooling with portal and Frosh
3. Niagara - Second best retooling with portal of D1 players
4. Fairfield - If Yetna plays 15+ MAAC games they will be top 4
5. Mount - Brings back a lot of last year but key factor is PG play
6. Siena - If Durugordon can play I would flip with Mount as a Top 5 team
7. QU - Still some very good players but how do they rise up without a proven PG?
8. Marist - Sleeper #1 to me. Talent is there but without go to scorer in Gardner who steps up?
9. St. Peters - This team will always fight hard I just cant see them getting out of PIG
10. Canisius - Sleeper #2, great PG play and some other solid players. Could be a surprise team
11. Manhattan - Too much unknown to put higher for me because someone has to finish last. But if their coach can do what he did in Hartford they could stick around the 7-9 range.
Re: MAAC 2023 Season Previews/ Blue Ribbon projections
Lindy's predictions:
1-Rider
2-Canisius
3-MSM
4-Quinnipiac
5-Marist
6-Iona
7-Fairfield
8-Siena
9-St. Peter's
10-Niagara
11-Manhattan
MSM and the Griffs seem very overstated ---Iona 6th ? NU 10th with most transfers ?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, the Field of 68’s digital preseason publication came out today. They don’t predict final MAAC standings but they do project a NCAA bracket — they have Siena as a 16 seed in a play-in game.

Re: MAAC/NU Preseason Projections : Blue Ribbon & Lindy's
This year more than other years , these predictions are absolutely meaningless given the turnover most programs experienced . Placing Canisius second is a joke , they have a relatively weak roster that includes three walk ons .

Here’s a massive #MAAChoops development: Former Cal guard DeJuan Clayton has committed to Manhattan and has been on campus, per a reliable source. The 26-year-old will need a waiver to be eligible. A lame hamstring limited the former Hartford Hawk to 9 games in lone season at Cal.
