The MAAC went 2-0 last night with wins over CCSU and UA. Actually the Jasper's road win over CCSU is impressive because the Blue Devils were picked to finish 1-2 in the the NEC.

The MAAC has regressed IMO. The league is currently 17-26 in OOC play with five or so of the wins were against D3 programs. The league is consistently losing to AEast, Patriot and CAA programs etc...Iona's loss was on a neutral court, SPU was at home; just awful. Siena is a basically a basket case while Rider has disappointed after being picked #1-2 in post-season projections.

It'll be interesting to see what the new commissioner has in mind to boost the profile of the conference . The small Catholic schools in the Northeast are struggling to stay afloat . Hopefully we'll see a turn around , but I'm doubtful .

The pain continues for the MAAC. Another loss to AEast with UNH over Marist …Siena is up at the half but is down their two best players due to injury ( Ely , Teikin)

I don't ever remember the MAAC being this downtrodden ? I'm sure it has, but do you recall Mick ?

Another 0-3 evening for the league with most contests being on a neutral court at Tourneys.

Is this really the year Qpac finally secures a MAAC Title, or are the Griffs poised to make a run after years of mediocrity under Reggie W's leadership? The preseason favorites Rider and Iona certainly haven't lived up to expectations. Can Iona win a damn game at this festival in Estero, Florida?

It seems to me that the MAAC teams are playing either on a neutral floor or on the road for most of these OOC contests. Why no home games ? What gives-- money ?

Hey Dave I just looked at Ken Pom and the MAAC looks to me to be historically bad, really ugly, hope it improves but I wouldn’t bet on it…….
