The IVY’s had different Covid rules and they did not grant extra years! This followed him when he left!
NCAA has nothin* to do with this, Niagara missed it!
I am embarrassed but let’s try and blame someone else.

Yes he is ineligible, never asked for or expected a waiver, why because SG is in charge!

None of what you authored is true. I guess the part of being embarrassed could be. The first article I provided clearly states that the Ivy league would relax their policy on graduate students for graduating seniors. The second article echos that same policy and states that undergraduates would NOT lose a year eligibility due to their season being cancelled.

We get it. You don't like Simon. It seems really personal for you. However, in this case, NU didn't miss anything. Mitchell played three seasons at Brown. One at Niagara. He did that in the five years allotted to him by the NCCA. Since he didn't lose a year of eligibility while at Brown, he still should have had his covid year--- as the articles indicate.

Let’s hope the NCAA, Mitchell and NU can revolve this matter promptly with the end result of getting him back on the court.

Than you tell me why he is not eligible? seems simple, but, those articles are two years old and Ivy League did have its own rules.

If you are right than why is he not eligible? Why was he brought to AC?

I was told point blank from somebody at Niagara, that we missed it.

Well let’s stop the pissing contest and move forward with the kids on the team and the games to be played including the new Hawaii game which is a much better game then the 2 lost Youngstown tournament games. Perhaps our resolution for this will be better than Mitchell perhaps a mid year addition… lol that being said we play Bucknell tomorrow for the home opener let’s talk about that.

The points nubball raised are valid and shouldn't be readily discounted . As usual , with NU offering no explanation as to the the two incidents , skepticism will remain . I'm glad NU was able to secure to a game , however , the cost to fly nearly 5,000 miles for just one game seems to be out of character for NU . Hopefully NU is getting a nice payday to offset the cost .
