Hi guys: fun fact. I watched the second half of Michigan taking care of St. John’s by a wide margin. Michigan’s point guard Dug McDaniel was the best player on the floor. I looked up Dug’s bio: Dug’s grandfather Charles skip McDaniel played for Niagara University from 1975-1978 scoring 469 points with 220 assists. Small world!

Wow. I remember Skip McDaniel for NU, a point guard I believe. When Skip left, Mike Phillips took over at the PG position. Scaffidi's illness started early during the 1978-79 season.
