WBB vs. Buffalo

As noted earlier, the women appear loaded with both returnees and exciting new players. I never really followed women’s basketball at any level until watching the NCAAs last year. A few of NUs games this year have been on ESPN+ and I am impressed.
The score at half was Niagara 43-42 against Buffalo. That was a typical final score just a few years ago. Angel Parker is still not playing for NU with an undisclosed problem,so the scoring is a real surprise.

I should have known not to jinx the team. UB blew open the game in the 3rd quarter by handling the press and making shots. Final score 75-92.
No real idea why2 starters of last year are not playing,Parker and Hicks. Since there is no info, it must mean that they will return someday. ( Top secret like the NFL about injuries.)

According to the NF Gazette Angel Parker did not play because of a knee injury , no specifics were given .
